Cinimod Studio was commissioned by the events production company Urban Caprice to do the lighting and video design for one of their major events. Sited within the ground floor of the Atlantis Gallery, the evening included a performance by the Dandy Warhols, followed by music from DJ Sasha.
During the lighting design development, extensive use was made of computer renderings in order to model the lighting effects and present an overview of the scheme progress (in the images below the visualisation is on the left, and the real photograph to the right). Cinimod Studio was responsible for the overall lighting development, specification and light plots.
Working directly with the client, Cinimod Studio prepared a tightly edited film sequence for projection, forming a colour rich ambient collage of imagery. Other major elements included a canopy of incandescent lightbulbs suspended over a high gloss red floor, and the dramatic lighting of certain steel work elements found within the space.
