Drawing parallels with the previous installation 'Emergence', a lighting sculpture located in Heathrow Terminal 5, the piece enforces a strong identity within the Caviar House & Prunier brand.

 

The artwork evolves throughout the day in its material, colour, lighting environment and events. During morning hours, a rich, gold material implies a dawn sunrise. Daytime reveals a silver, chrome appearance with warm and cool tones. In the evening hours, a tactile dark satin finish with cool blue and purple hues sees the piece through to the final hours of the terminal’s operations.

 

Within these evolutions lie a series of events that are inspired by subaquatic life; golden rising bubbles to shoals of light trails that spiral around the form. These transient moments occur throughout the day with more dramatic gestures occurring on the hour.
